Reef Rider lives by the ocean's code: take nothing, leave nothing, ride free. This charter is our commitment to exactly that — no personal data taken, no trace left, just the pure joy of the wave.
What the current carries
The current carries nothing personal from your session. No rider's profile, no wave log, no device mark is recorded in our archives. You paddle out, you ride, you paddle in — invisible.
Tide readings (server logs)
Like a surf station's weather log, our servers may automatically record: browser type, device category, and an anonymised IP fragment. These readings help us keep the break open. No individual surfer is identified.
No surveillance buoys
Reef Rider anchors no advertising buoys, no behavioural tracking nets, and no third-party observers in its waters. The lineup is surveillance-free.
The board shaper (Google Fonts)
Our typefaces are shaped by Google Fonts. Your browser's connection to Google's servers may include your IP. Their own charter covers what they do with that signal.
Groms welcome
Reef Rider is a sun-drenched, joyful game for all ages. No violent content, no gambling, no age restrictions. Groms and veterans alike are welcome in the water. We collect nothing from any surfer.
Charter swells
If our practices change with the swell, this charter will be updated and redated. Continued riding after any change is acceptance of the new terms.
